Installation and maintenance
1. Before installation, carefully read the product manual, verify whether the product fully meets the usage requirements, familiarize yourself with the installation points, and make preparations.
2. Check whether the parameters marked on the nameplate are the parameters of the selected product and consistent with the user manual.
Before taking over, thoroughly flush the pipeline with a pressure of 0.3Mpa to completely remove any metal powder, residual sealing materials, rust, and other debris from the pipeline.
4. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If there are impurities such as dust and dirt mixed in the medium that hinder the normal operation of the solenoid valve, a filter should be installed in the pipeline.
5. Electromagnetic valves should not be installed in low-lying areas of pipelines. If they are installed in the discharge pipeline of containers, they should not be led out from the bottom of the container, but should be installed slightly above the bottom of the container.
If the medium is prone to water hammer, a multifunctional solenoid valve should be selected or corresponding preventive measures should be taken.
7. The inlet side of the steam solenoid valve should be equipped with a drain valve, and the connecting pipe should be inclined. The drain valve should be installed at a low position, and it is best to install a multi way backwash filter.
8. The flow direction of solenoid valves is generally directional and cannot be installed in reverse. The direction of medium flow is usually indicated by an "arrow" on the valve body, and installation should follow the direction indicated by the "arrow".
The electromagnetic coil components of general solenoid valves should be upright and perpendicular to the pipeline. Some products have special regulations, please install according to the instructions..
10. When taking over, attention should be paid to not using excessive sealing materials. When connecting with threads, the connecting pipe thread should be kept within the effective length and chamfered with a file at the half pitch of the end. The sealing tape should be wrapped from 2 threads from the end. Otherwise, excessive sealing tape or adhesive will enter the solenoid valve and cause accidents that hinder normal operation.
11. There should be a certain reserved space at the installation site of the solenoid valve for its daily maintenance and regular repairs.
12. During installation, use a wrench or pipe wrench to secure the valve body, and then tighten the connecting pipe. Do not apply force to the coil assembly to cause deformation, which may make it difficult for the solenoid valve to function properly.
13. In the case of insufficient pipeline rigidity or water hammer phenomenon, please firmly fix the brackets for the front and rear connecting pipes of the valve.
When used in frozen areas, use insulation materials to protect the pipelines or install heaters on the pipelines.
15. It is necessary to confirm whether there is any leakage in the solenoid valve itself and its connection with the connecting pipe.
16. The connection of the coil lead wires should be checked for correctness, especially in the case of three lead wires.
17. Electrical components connected to solenoid valves, such as relays, switches, and contactors. When opening the valve, the contacts should not vibrate, otherwise the operation will be unreliable and affect the service life of the solenoid valve.
18. The electrical circuit should be connected to corresponding safety wires as protection for the electrical circuit.
For the convenience of maintenance and repair operations, or to ensure uninterrupted production, it is recommended to use bypass isolation installation method for general solenoid valves.
